I'm lucky in a way that I live in a very small town. The guy that painted it did a complete paint job, inside the door jams, repainted all the Satin Black trim, and then the flames before the clear-coat for $2,400.

My parents still live in McAlester. I was actually there picking up my 81 from paint that day. We were just driving by and saw all vettes. Just one of those weird things.

from the pics it looks like the painter did an excellent job. it looks awsome. c3s are so under rated now with all the talk about c5s and c6s. to me the c4s and c3s are the best looking vettes made. i would take your c3 over a c5 or c6 anyday. you dont see c3s anymore and they look wayyy better imho
anyway your c3 looks awsome!!!!!

While the page was loading I was trying to picture flames on a C3 without looking gaudy and couldn't do it. So glad your car looks better then what I had in my mind! Very cool!
