I've used Corvette America's interior spray dye several times with great success. I'm using black on my interior now and some comes out great but some is coming out FLAT and very uneven like a tiger pattern.
I cleaned it with pep, primed it and it looks like crap.
Any ideas on this? Could it be old dye? I have 3 cans and they are all coming out flat on some pieces.
Thanks for any ideas here.

i had this problem with the SEM red dye. i think it has to do with how much you put on. if i used light coats it came out shiney and even, but if i put it on thick it got dull and the pattern on the vinyl looked different.
If.....you are using SEM...you must apply tack coats....and wait 15 minutes between coats. It works very good,as I did my Oyster leather steering wheel about a month ago....Sem also stays flexible and does not get "hard",per se....I had to apply at least four tack coats with the 15 minute wait in between...Shake the can before each application....
If you look close, you can see in this picture where I had stopped at 3'o'clock and 7 o'clock.....it is all done now.....

I had the same problem. It was the cleaner I used reacted w/the paint. Ask the local paint shop, they will have the right stuff.
I forgot what I used but it worked fine the second time.
I just did my whole interior black within the last month. One day, I had the exact same problem you are having. All the dye up until this point had turned out great, but then I started having the dull, flat finish on all the pieces that day. I took the can back to the store thinking they had sold me flat black with a gloss black cap or maybe just one with bad contents.
Same thing later that day with the new can. I was getting pissed. Then, I finally figured it out. Turns out it was a relatively cool day, in the shade with very high humidity. A few days later, the sun was out so I set the pieces in the sun for a few minutes at midday while the humidity was lowest, and everything started coming out perfect again.
