headlight switch grounding out

headlight switch grounding out
anyone have any problems with their headlamp switch grounding out and blowing the fuse to the dash lights. im almost positive that its the switch cause with the switch turned all the way with the dash lights off the fuse doesnt blow but as soon as i turn the **** to turn make the dash light dim and come on the fuse blows. any opinions before i buy a new switch?
