Default strange tail light prob - help

This is on a 74 - My drivers side tail light does not come on BUT its NOT the bulb because the brake light and directional work fine. So this would indicate it is not a bad ground, or a bad bulb. I have done a search on here and have not seen this exact problem. The passenger side is perfect.

I have seen some talk about a piggy back cable .. does this apply to a 74? Its dark now when I noticed it so I have not had a chance to get under and look at it.

Any help is appreciated.

Default Check the bulb!

The 1157 is a dual filament bulb, one for the stop/directional and one for the tail light. Sounds like the filament for the tail light is broken in two. You should be able to hold it up to the light and see if it is broken. Replace it and you should be good to go!
