Hauling my C3
I am considering borrowing a dual axle car trailer in Ohio, pulling it to Florida and bringing my '69 L46 back on it.
My question: Do I need separate insurance for the trailer? Is it covered by my truck's insurance? The trailer is owned by a family friend.

There are so many different poilicies and exclusions out there. You ought to make a call to your insurance company and ask for a clarification. Most policies, except commercial, have a limited liability amount on items transported on a trailer. Sometimes the vehicle(on the trailer) policy will cover it as long as the vehicle is registered. I have a commercial policy on my pickup that will cover any damages to a trailer and the property being transported for up to $500,000. So be careful and confirm that you have the proper coverage.

OK. My truck policy will cover the trailer but not the vette on it. I have Aeon Collector Car ins and will check with them to see if that insurance covers it when I transport it on an open trailer.
