Trying to determine what a 69 L88 w btops ac 4spd bought new in late 69 is worth.
Uh, why do you want to know? If you're gonna tell us you've got one & you don't have a clue how much it's worth, we're not gonna believe you, I'm afraid.
And I'm pretty sure air wasn't an option on L88s. [Dang it, Gordon, you popped in while I was editing so I could show how smart I was ]
You are correct the L88 did not come with AC and this one does not have. I was wrong on that count. It is a friend that purchased new in May 1970 after returning from 2 tours in Vietnam. This car is for real with 42K miles. He has had some people trying buy at a steal. It is in very good shape no accidents and been stored for the past 10-15 yrs
It would pay to have it professional appraised by someone who knows classic cars. If it what you say it could be worth quite a bit of money. 6 figures possibly. Someone is always trying to get good cars at a steal and they succeed sometimes. Good luck,I wish I had an L88 as do most Corvette enthusiast.
Thanks, I had thought it was worth a lot more than 35. I will let him know he needs to get a good appraisal on it. Anyone got a name of a good appriaser on this type corvette. Here in the Midwest

It's valve depends on if he has proper ducumentation or not. Justbecause it has an L88 engine doesn't cut it since there are MANY clones out there.
