Not an expert on Camaro but I don't think there were any 1967 factory installed 427s. There were a few (very few) dealers like Yenko that would take a new car and swap in a 427. OK, Maybe a few Copos, but not regular production 427s. The factory bigblock Camaro was 396. So is the car you are looking at supposed to be a Copo?

PRNDL, I don't think it is correct at all either. The car was supposed to be a matching # BB 1967 camaro. The emblems on the side of the car says 427 so, it HAS to be right? Funny though, the #'s didn't match either. Does anybody know what this engine is?

THANK YOU!! How does a 1969 427 390 hp engine get in an "original" 1967 camaro? No wonder this guy didn't have time to look for the tank sticker! Thanks again guys, I had looked all over the net but, couldn't find the facts. CF RULES!!
