Picked up a 78 (48/t-tops both sets, posi) last month here in michigan for 3500 bucks. had been sitting for 8 years so a frame off will take place this winter. Im prolly looking at 10 grand more to sink into this bucket but after removing the mice it fired up.
Got different cam in it,noticed the tranny dip tube was not bolted on the bell so always a classic sign of somthing got pulled or dropped. pulled the pan and after market windage bolted on so
its been gone through. anyway tossed alum intake on it tuned it up. fixed sending on oil 40 lbs warm
runs like a rape'd ape 
looks nice inside and out but of course then you look under it and holy moly the fun begins....hmmmmmmmmm rust never sleeps.
i'll let yas know how its going later
