Default C3 buying advice

I'm thinking about selling my C5 to get into a C3. Although I've read a lot about my C5 and could list the typical problem areas easily I find myself lacking this knowledge about C3's. I'm wondering if somebody has put together an inspection checklist for C3's. Something that lists common problem areas, things to look for, things to check off if functioning correctly, etc. I am particularily insterested in the chrome bumper years. I'm not looking to buy a show car rather a nice driver. Thanks for any info

Ever ridden in or driven a C3? They're worlds removed from a C5...

One word, "refinement".

Yeah...hes ridden in mine all week...thats why he's moving to a C3! We traded for a week now he wants a C3 and I want a C5...only I want my C5 in addition to my C3 for the times when I want "refinement" like a/c, fuel mileage, the ability to talk on a cell phone...etc. So many cool cars...so little garage slots.

The frame just in front of the rear tires. The straight to kickup junction is where they like to rot out first. Best tell tale.

The vacuum system for headlights and wiper door. Between the vac motors and the controllers sometimes have problems. Wiper door eliminated ?? year.

Convertable, maybe coupe. Seat belt retractors, sit under the seat and might be shot- water.

The brake calipers, most likely rotted unless the stainless fix has been done, then no prob.

Might leak at windshield pillar, top or firewall.

High heat in cockpit, this may be normal or may be a problem.
Heater door don't operate, on the console.
Fiber optics. I found mine had been painted over at the lights! Cleaned and work now.

69-? have headlight washers, I'll let those who have them comment.

Fender flares, maybe, maybe not. This is a running modification since they were new.

Engine, tranny, rear end. All were optioned. Might make a diff for you.
