Need help Identifying
Can anyone tell me how I can verify if a 1969 Corvette, 
that we just bought had the optional L71 427/435hp engine in it? The Engine and tranny are gone. The guy we are buying it off of said that it was. He said that the old owner pulled the motor, tranny and tach from it. Were there other options that were specific to that engine selection that could verify it? Not sure if there is a tank sticker yet. Someone told me that it had a larger rear sway bar and two fuel lines?????

Look for the Transistior Ignition module on the front of the left fenderwell. All 435 h.p. cars required this option. Also, a magnetic trigger distributor and special ignition coil round out the T.I. package.
