Default Does the blower ever shut off '77?

Every time I put the key to on on my '77, the blower motor kicks into low (the same position the switch is in), but the other MFS (multifunction switch) is "off". Does the blower always run, or is there something I have a bubba to thank?

It always runs; if it didn't, air would come out recirc vent near the passenger floor.

Outstanding! It's nice to know that not everything that doesn't make sense initially isn't bad.

Thanks guys!

I heard a story once that GM designed it that way because of a back up of CO2 in the cockpit without it running.

Don't know if that's true but it at least explains it...

Modified a long time ago.
Low to Off
Disconnect connector at resistor box under hood pass. side near high blower relay & bend down the connector to dk. brown wire & reconnect.
