Is anyone running Boyd Coddington Junk Yard Dog Wheels? Have seen a few vettes with the smoothies. Does anyone have any pics with these wheels on their vette? What are your thoughts? Thanks!

Over on the pro-Touring forum they where talkng about Coddington having issues with the Junkyard wheel, casting quality or something and that production was going to be delayed.

To quote the member's post

"I was going to order the JYD wheels about 4 weeks ago and decided to call Boyds direct to check availability and ask about the finish. I was told they were having trouble getting the wheel to pass destructive testing and would have to redesign it a little. The estimated delivery was estimated at maybe 10-12 weeks. I decided to go with something else. you might want to call them and check on the status."

Just looking at that pic, it seems like there is no room for the caliper. Might need a spacer/adapter...

I like the look, though.

I ordered these wheels 3 weeks ago. Probably another 5 weeks until I have them. I think they'll look great on my 69. 17x8 front 18x9 rear. I haven't heard anything about production problems, hope its a rumor
