Anyone know what auto insurance companies will write a policy for "stated value" based on appraisals for rebuilt C3's? How are y'all insuring daily driver pro-touring Corvettes?
Be VERY careful with who you go thru for "collectable" car insurance. Just that one word differance in the type of policy can mean the differance of getting a check for what YOU know the car is worth or having to prove beyond a shadow of doubt, in court against your OWN insurance company, what your car is worth.
Yikes, makes me want to take a look at the wording of my policy. I have mine through Haggerty. So far they have been great, but I'd hate to have that bite me in the butt.
Unfortunately, Haggerty et al will not work for a daily driver. I have only a 1-car garage, short driveway into a villa with no other parking, so it is all I can have. The car has to do 100% duty. I'm still looking, but have a couple numbers to call Monday. Thank you for the input.
