Default NYLON Rivets - horn ???

I have finally discovered why my HORN does not work on my 72. The 3 nylon rivets have been replaced with WIRE TIES !
This makes it impossible for the 2 metal contacts to touch when you press the horn button.

I am not really a tight WAD, but ZIPcORVETTE wants 2 bucks for the rivets and 7.95 for shipping to Atlanta. That just AIN'T RIGHT.

Any suggestions ??????????

I would like to find a source (cheap) for plastic rivets. I need them for my Porsche 914, they hold on the rocker panels.
