72 elkhart green
hi isnt the elkhart green the 1st or 2nd most sold car in 72? i've been to 6 classic/corvette shows and i never seen one i dont think that is an ugly color i got one and i like it and everyone tells me that is a nice color some even ask me if is a custom color becouse they never seen that type of green

Elkhart Green was sprayed on 4200 cars in 72 (second to
Ontario Orange 4891). The Elkhart Green is a great colour
in my opinion, however I'm sure many of them have been
painted over (red...black...) and that is probably why
you don't see many.

Just had mine out today for the first time since undergoing a 2yr.resto, It was even the first time I ever saw it in the daylight since it was painted!!Love that color

sorry... I should have read further down the page. It's still interesting that site has production figures for 1972... but doesn't have any for 1973. I've been looking for 73 colors.

Elkhart Green.... just what i was looking for.
i know my dad painted the 69 vette ive got green, he just didnt remember what the name of the paint was.
in a couple of years i intend to repaint the car exactly the same color with the exact same daytona yellow striping.
