What do you guys think? Feedback? Anyone have a better setup (have to have cat) that I should use that isn't too expensive? I want it to be loud too. Mufflers that actually muffle are no fun.
Flow 40s are VERY loud. I'd check with you local muff shop for a CATCO converter. High flow for less $. You probably don't have room for the 40s and twin tips.

If you want it to be loud, why not just skip mufflers all together? I think that's what I'm going to do on my first try to see how it sounds. If it's too loud I may stick some glasspack style mufflers on (Dynomax race bullets or something). . .

There are better 'Cats' on the market for performance. Might want to check into that area a bit more. I like the idea about leaving the mufflers off for the time beaing since you WANT loud. Pipes to the rear lower the sound in and of themselves,(mine are not much different with or without the 4 super traps I'm running) plus with the cats up forward, it may just what you are looking to hear. Like he said, you can always add them later if you don't like the sound or 'the man' doesn't.
