Good example for carrying a fire extinguisher, checking fuel lines & hoses regularly, and repairing/replacing gas tanks properly.

I'm kinda surprised the bidding is up that high.

Even with the extra rear clip, you would still have to invest a minimum of $10,000 to get the Vette back to the way it is suppose to be.

Really sad to see.

Big Block! People go crazy with those two words. Much cheaper to buy a junk small block and drop a BIG crate into it!

What's weird is that the fire stopped *exactly* at each door. Maybe the guy hopped out and left them open...??

Its kinda funny. That first picture you see of the front of the car, I said to myself "Oh that doesn't look that bad" and then you scroll down and look at the rest of the pics

So Sad.

ALWAYS carry a fire extinguisher, and in a place where you can get to it easily and quickly.

Maybe there are some nice parts under the hood but what a shame.

It's a shame to see. Looks like it was probably a really nice car judging from the pics of the front portion. The owner must be devastated, I know I would be.

Not too far from me actually, maybe about 90 miles. I believe EdT is now living out in Cookeville.

Shame the car had to end up like this. If this is not enough to get you to go out to Wally world and buy an extinguisher, nothing is. They are cheap enough. A whole lot cheaper than replacing the vette.
