We met Skydaddy today. He fit right in. Too bad he had to leave early to go to the coast.

MS-That 750 will be available in a week or 2. We'll see if that will help any.

To go OT a little - made it down to the coast and back ok. Brett & Hooker - while I am sorry that I had to cut our get together short - boy am I glad that I went. The last hurricane that went through - they cut boards and marked them for the windows. We were done for the most part by 10pm and back on our way by 10:30. Traffic was no problem amazingly enough with I-59 going North only at about exit 27 - had to go backroads from there but that was my plan anyway. One thing that I did not understand was that the local tv stations were saying to expect it to take 24 hours to get from New Orleans to Jackson on Sunday - it took us 3 last night on all the standard roads - why would you wait and then have to sit in traffic?

I have been to the sonic on getwell and goodman a couple of yrs ago. I live on getwell between goodman and church. Unfortunately my vette is having problems with the tire balance. It is amazing how many shops don't know much about balancing tires.....sorry rant...

Any of you know a good shop in the desoto county area that know what they are doing balancing tires?...sorry not trying to steal the thread but with so many north Mississippians I had to ask.

Several years ago I bought an '86 that shook - faster I went, more it shook. I bought a new set of tires in Vicksburg, drove off, same problem. I drove to Jackson and went to a front end shop - they balanced, same problem, drove back to Vicksburg, they rebalanced, same problem, back to another shop in Jackson, same problem. This is late in the day by now - in desperation, I took it to Herrin-Gear Chevrolet, they balance the tires - perfect - no shake. 5 balances in one day.
All that to say - you might want to try a Chevy dealership that sells a few corvettes.
