Interior Project (PICS)
Well I must say this project turned out much bigger than I initially anticipated.
I was intalling new carpet so I decided to go ahead and put in some Dynamat.
I ended up putting it EVERYWHERE in the vette that I could get to, and about 15 solid hours of installing I finished.
There's other insulation covering some areas, but there's Dynamat under all of it
While I was at it, I decided to install my rear 6x9's in the two larger storage compartment doors in the back
I had to put in a spacer so the cone would clear the battery
I'll post more pics as I progress

Wow, looking good. That is a lot of time to spend at once working on the vette. But I have been known to do similiar but not quite as long doing vette projects. Just seems like time slips away when you are having fun.

Just curious if you used any type of sound deadening material in the doors. I know that dynomax makes some spray in stuff that supposed to be pretty good, but I am just squeemish about spraying stuff into/onto the door.

Ok. MAYBE I went a little overboard... after talking to a forum member late last night who recommended I throw down some Reflectix for heat in the front, so after a trip to Lowe's, 15 bucks and 15 minutes...
and here's the back completed with the carpet and speakers installed
