Hey, flippin' channels tonight and found Monster Garage turning a 1970 vette into a mud bog racer

It was cool, shame it was a 73 BB, they could have butchered a C4 but then it probably wouldn't have been cool and I think those 2 homos from mythbusters took it

i've watched that episode twice, and both times I've changed the channel because i get pissed that they took a really decent BB vette and butchered it. and the one dude works at or owns West Coast Corvettes, he should friggin' know better!

I not only changed the channel but I have never watched the show again - and never will. What a disgrace.

Yes, it was a shame to see a 73 BB get cut up, but they did make a cool machine out of it IMO. Like Jessie said, I will bet any of these guys would trade me in a second. It is a one off machine for sure.

Did anyone notice they claim they got 600 hp from the 454 engine??
They changed the cam, carb and manifold, added headers and nitros. 600 hp? Hah! I'd like to see the dyno sheet.

although jesse james made those headers so that definately adds 50hp
