got about 15mpg on back roads - 50-60mph yesterday, 75 miles, cost me $20.
When I first bought the car, the secondary float bowl on the holley was adjusted so there was no fuel in there - basically the secondaries were turned "off". I got 19 on the interstate when I drove her home that day.
Im thinking of "un-tuning" the carb so to speak to get 19 mpg again on the interstate - of course at the expense of power and speed.
Come to Canada, the gal's are bigger. ha My '75 with rebuilt Q jet, IF I can keep it under 60 mph I get an astonishing 25 mpg. but otherwise I get 20 mpg at speeds to 75 mph.. Might be our Canadian air .
Last week on my trip up to school I got 15 mpg and I was going about 85 the whole way. Gas just sky rocketed to $3.06 for crap gas in the middle of nowhere Kansas.
whoa! 7$ bucks a gallon? Is that factoring in the exchange rate where you live? By the way, where the f is Umea anyway?
Yep living in the northern sweden in a small town called Umea
the gas prices are begining to be ridiculus over here
they have raised the price with 50% in the last half year and its still going upp like mad...
i just laughed when i saw the raise today..........
