Tranny Dope
Want To Change The Tranny Dope In My M-21 4-speed. Should I Go With Synthetic Or Stick With Standard ?? Would I Use A 80-90 Weight?? Thanks Dave

Not sure about the tranny dope, but if changing the tranny gear oil, I would use this:

i have never heard gear oil refered to as ''dope''. now i have heard pipe joint compound refered to as ''pipe dope''(the white stuff the plumbers and fitters use on there threaded pipes) must be new lingo!
