Default Math question regarding me and my Vette ?

I bought my '80 Vette 10 years ago when I was 38 and the Vette was 15 years old. That made me about 2.5 times older than my Vette. Now ten years later I am 48 and my Vette is 25 years old making me only 1.9 times older than my Vette. Ten years from now I will be 58 and my Vette will be 35 years old making me only 1.6 times older than my Vette

My question is : At this rate how long will it be before my Vette is older than me ?

Plotting the curve defined by your equation in a 2-dimensional (X-Y) graph by recognized conventional standards, and assuming that you will live forever (it could happen), you will become infinitely close to the same age as your Vette, but never equal to or exceeding that age.

After drinking 6 beers and a couple of dry Martinis and considering this for a while, I have concluded that if you drive, or attempt to drive, your Vette at or above the speed of light, this relationship will change. Since the Vette has no concept of time, but you do, time will stand still for you, but the Vette will continue to age. You can stop the process at any point you choose, but I recommend the Titanium rotors.

In order for this to benefit me, I suggest we arrange to have bridges built from one continent to another at the equator. Once completed, you should accelerate your Vette on the road at the equator in the same direction as the earth's rotation (from west to east). Since for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, your mindboggling acceleration will react opposite of the earth's rotation, thus actually slowing down the rotation of the earth. This will make the days longer, and I can complete more car projects as a by-product of your age-matching experiment.

I need another drink.

The speed of light angle has got me thinking, I could say borrow someone elses Vette, leave mine in the driveway and drive the borrowed Vette at the speed of light for a while and when I came back I would not have aged as much as my Vette according to Einstein ?

Default Hmmmmmmmmmm...

I was 29 when my car rolled off the line in October of 77. So here I am all these years later, 57 and struttin around with a hot little thing that is only 28. It works for me...
OK ok, she will be 28 next month.
If my car didn't turn 18 until 95, were all the previous owners to that point arrested and jailed for child abuse or statutory rape?
The next question is, how could her parents allow such a thing to happen?

I never could do math questions. I simply enjoy my '79. I could never do the math. Joe.

No, he should actually drive in the opposite direction of the earths rotation thus reversing the time continuum so that when he returns, his car will be new again! I think...

It all makes sense to me ... but most of us are too old to
remember all that math and science. I think it's against forum
rules to use the word "Asymptote".

I have a MATH degree so here's your answer. You'll have to die before your Vette catches you.
