Reprints are more common than the originals. And they are very inexpensive. For it to be worth $20, or more, "in mint condition", I'd have to have some way of making sure it's for real.
BTW" I have the original for mine, with all the dealer paperwork, tire serial #, warranty docs, window sticker, etc. But the first owner spilled coffee on it, and the window sticker has faded to a dark brown, the build sheet (from above the tank) has very little user info on it. Does that make it "rare"? All the paperwork is basically useless to me since I plan on enjoying the car as I modify it to the way I like it.
The last manual with Corvette News insert I saw sell, was a 1971 manual, and on ebay it was bid to $65.00. I would think you could easily sell it for $50, if not more.
I don't believe that any repro manuals have the Corvette News card. Even the "original" manuals that you could order from Helm decades ago didn't have the CN cards. Chuck
