i am running the small block version and there is tons of room so i would have to say that the big block kit will work just fine.

Are you running A/C and power steering?

Those conversions are so nice. If only they didn't cost a kidney and your firstborn...

That setup is too tall for the stock BB hood however I am in the middle of doing this (with the same SB truck brackets). You need to cut a notch in the cross member, make a spreader bar and do a lot of machine work to the brackets as well as machine the adapter plates. All in all probably more trouble than its worth but I love challenges.

Corey_68: Still interested in whether the March setup you used included the A/C compressor and power steering. My understanding is that the March setup would not clear with these accessories.

No A/c but YES to power steering. For the kit to work you have to use a remote power steering pump off of a '87 Pontiac Sunbird (found at Auto-Zone/Nappa/O'reilly's) and a remote resivoir. Later on I MAY convert to A/C and I'll just have to buy the compressor and brackets.

I was interested in this a few years ago and I contacted the March people. At that time, even after using their "kit", I would have had to get a different A/C compressor (etc) and do the P/S remote job. When you add it all up, it was way beyond reasonable. So I scrapped the idea.

The issues are compounded for an A/C & P/S car.
