We are getting our 28x40 Stoltzfus shed and it will have a reinforced wood floor. Plus it is not very tall inside so a regular lift is out of the question. I hate to get under cars even with jackstands. I am a pretty big guy and need the car up pretty high to be comfortable and did i mention i hate i hate i hate getting under one lol. Saw this the other day and it looked prety cool just wanted to see if anyone had experience with this thing...

I saw these on sale last weekend at the Grand Rod Run in Pigeon Forge and they were asking $995. I am assuming that is without any accesories at all. Still a neat lift IMO.
I have a Stolzfus shed w/ 3/4" floor & blocking every 12" on center. The floor creaks when pulling in. I would lay additional 3/4" plywood under the lift.
The Stolfus buildings are built extremely well, you will be pleased w/ it.
Mine is 4 yrs old and the floor has no sags.
yeah this will be our 4th one from them we have one shed that is at least 20 years old and is still ingreat shape. We had one that we could keep a car in but it got filled with furniture
I saw a different version of that in a vette mag. They carried that type and the lift also.
It was a ramp that when you drove onto it it teeter tottered and lifted the car off the ground. I suppose legs would lock the rear end in place.
What I liked about it was it was much simpler and ligher than that type. And it seemed to be automatic compared to the other kinds.
It was a ramp with a leg in the center for the fulcrum and in this mode the front leg was off the ground. Apparently when you drive onto it the ramp tips forward and is level.
Use the $1000.00 bucks and put it towards a four post lift. That's what I'm going to do. I've seen them as low as $1500.00 up to $3000.00. They allow you to stand under your car and work on it or you can park another car under it.

Id love to, but kwiklift might be my only option cause my garage ceiling is too low (8'). kwiklift seems like a viable option.
Anyone using a drive over sissor lift, they appear to be pretty neat, of course they only rise to 40+ INCHES BUT THE REST OF THE TIME WHEN COLAPSED THEY ARE HIDDEN?
I have one in the shop, it's great and portable....
Can you tell me what brand? I have seen no discussion on these, but I am inclined to buy one, if you bought again what would you change about the model you purchased, there are several types out there. Thanks in advance

How do you work on the underside center of the vehicle? It seems there is a lot of stuff in the way. Concerned about how you would remove the transmission, for instance. Every ad that I have seen for this type of lift, shows work being done on the outside of the vehicle, brake work, etc., never anyone working underneath removing transmission, clutch work, exhaust work, etc.
I only use that lift for "outside the frame" work. You can do diff.and suspension work, but no trans. or exhaust work. I have a 2 post asymetrical lift for that!
I like mine alright but would prefer a regular lift if I had the height in my garage. The back comes up same height as the front once you get on the lift. Hope this pic gives you a good idea.
