I have a problem with my T-tops, they are caulked on the car and haven't leaked so I haven't tried to remove them yet. How and how much will it cost to fix this mess?

Do you mean caulked (as in siliconed) to the car? If so, it depends on where it's caulked. If it's along the weatherstripping, then undo the latches and try to remove it slowly. Depending on the type and grip, it may just peel off. Worst case scenario, you may have to replace the weatherstripping. If you go to your local hardware store, they may be able to recommend some solvent to dissolve and/or help separate the caulking. They key is to go slowly. If anything, have someone pull the top up slightly to stretch the weatherstripping and take a utility knife blade to cut the silicone without touching the weatherstripping...SLOW AND EASY!!!

Bubba wuz there....better check the structure underneath the tops when you remove it...hope it's ok.
Wow! This is the most bubba fix I have ever heard of. What would possess someone to say, "them doggone T-tops is leakin' agin! The heck with bein' able to have an open car when I want it, I'll just grab this here can of spackle and seal 'em up. That oughta fix it!" Unreal.

Hopefully the window frame is not rusted too badly where it may have been leaking the $ estimate is prety tough until you see what is underneath all the sealant...with luck it's ok.
