Looks great! Good Job.

How many hours do you have into the job? What were the biggest hurdles for you?

Wow!! Great job.

I really like they way that material came out. It looks like that stuff might be stronger than the stock vinyl. Maybe it won't flutter at high speed.

FWIW, mine (Al Knoch vinyl, self installed) doesn't flutter at any speed I've driven with the top up...around 100, let's say.

Total time, removing the old top, treating some rusty areas, installing new tack strips, new top......probably about 20-25 hours.

It seems to be a lot tougher than the vinyl. The vinyl could be torn by hand once you cut it with a knife. I don't think you could tear this Stayfast material in the same way. I can already tell that it is going to be a more quiet ride with this material.

Man that looks great!
That is what I was considering doing on mine. Now that I see the results, I am definitely doing it.
Be sure and let us know your impressions on how it sounds on the freeway vs the vinyl top.

IMO, it looks like a tux on the vette. Just starting the car up and letting it idle it seems to have quieted the car. Maybe it is just because the top was up but it seemed to be quieter. I am headed to Bowling Green on Thursday afternoon so I will let you know my impressions sometime Saturday or Sunday.
