...I just mocked up a flare (lotsa work still on those) and a rim w/ one of my steamroller hoosiers
Are they big? yes....
I also have some race slicks for the 2nd set of wheels I have (I have 9 of these wheels and a whole bunch of rim halves)
damn this is a sh!tty camera

the tires came as blackwalls, I did the white letters myself because I'm a sucker for that kinda stuff, I don't like blackwall tires.

I don't see a big metal thing. I see a workmate on the left (black legs) w/ 2 doors on top and a tarp over it, behind it is an engine stand, behind that a cherry picker, the blue thing behind that is my mig welder, the gray is a 20 Liter bottle of C25, next to it on the left is a rim of my truck.... which of those all do you mean?

Must be the doors.
The flares look good with the big white letter tires. I think the white letters make a car look muscle. If I had 17 inch rims, I would paint the letters white on them also. Some cars the white letters just look right and I think with the vette, white letters just look right.

the tires will go up into the wheel well a good bit higher but they are close to the original fender lip now, need to remove that first before I can tuck them up in there. I probably won't be running a large gap between the tire and the fender lip so those super stiff shocks and springs come in handy

the wing is just dumped on there, it should go the other way around, pointing back..aerodynamics will suffer but downforce will be excellent

I won't make a claim to have it finished by a certain date... I would probably end up not making it anyway
