Radio convector

I want to repalce an aftermarket radio with the orginal, which fortunatley I still have. Can someone give me insight as to where the convector is supposed to be mounted.

Behind the right dash pad/map pocket, bolted to the lower windshield frame.

Don't know what year you have, but this is for the '73 which should basicly cover most of that era...

The convector goes behind the passanger side dash pad along wit the heat sink.
