New headers work with original pipes?

New headers work with original pipes?
I think I may have a leak in my exhaust manifold. Will any modern headers fit in with the stock '69 pipes? Maybe there are plenty, I just dont know.

Any muffler shop should be able to weld an adapter on your existing pipes to adapt/bolt to headers.
I think the "shorty" headers are a true bolt on - other members may know

I run long Hooker Headers, but my exhaust pipes were added after the headers were put in. But you can use long or short and have a adapter welded to the existing pipes, as long as your pipes are in good shape. Is your manifold leak just a gasket..?
