That is a body kit put on a late model vette. I can't remember the name of the company doing the conversion but what they do is take your C5 and put thier body kit on on it and make it look like a 53.

Does it ever rain in southern California? Hmmm, reminds me of something.

Nice pics by the way. Looks like a great day for a show. Thanks for taking the time to post the pics.

After our seven year drought,we got 21 inches between october-february this past winter(that's what we call it)....can't remember last time it rained since then....
BTW..those conversions were $29,000 just over three years ago....$40,000 now, depending on personal touches etc..that vette belongs to a friend...

I cannot beleive that we (the oldest Vette club in the nation) at COCSD didn't know about this! I would have put a link up on the website and there would have been a lot more Vettes there!

I saw one of these last June at a Vette Show in Torrance, CA. If I recall correctly, it's a 50th Anniversary Commemorative Edition. Basically a 2003 body with 53'-type front & rear end. Believe they only made about 110 units. Cost: ?

I really like this ride!!

I think the cost is around $20-$30k + you have to have a c5. They were at Funfest this year. They have a couple of different body kits.

That company wanted GM to sanchion that for the 50th..but GM was not interested...so none were produced by GM as I understand....

That's probably better that way. I think it is a neat, unique car, but it I think the windshield line doesn't really work with the other body lines. I think it is a cool car, but Im glad their not all over the place. I think the other body kit was a C2?
