The only kit I'm familiar with is the C1...I first seen this in New Mexico at Galles Chevrolet in 2002. A vette(2001) was in for service that had this "53" vette kit already done.It cost the guy $29,000 and it was white. My buddy owns the red one in pics above...I would not do this personally..can think of better use for the money...

....have registered for the Miramar(Marine Airbase) military show Dec 3rd...same deal as Camp Pendleton...
Let's see....oh...Escondido (San Diego Club) is having a pumpkin rallye Oct 23rd.. have not checked November...
Hope Chevron does not run out of gas....also,finally figured out how to get pics up better...

PS..have not forgot seals...Chief has a full kit if you want it...PM him...
I wish I could make the Viejas event, or the pumpkin Rallye; unfortunately I have my mom's birthday on the 22nd, and then I take posession of our C3 on the 23rd (and since it's in non-working status, needing valve adjustment, plus new tags in order to run it on the street) there's no way I'll make it to any events in October. November, however, might be possible.

I'm definitely going to have to check out the COCSD website; I wouldn't mind hanging out with a bunch of gearheads like myself.

There are now two "San Diego" Corvette Clubs...the oldest is COCSD (Corvette Owners of San Diego) and the new one from Escondido is the "San Diego Corvette Club"...confusing as heck...I belong to Temecula Valley Corvettes...60 mile drive once a month from El Cajon...but they are very active..hook up sometime...guests welcome..no obligation....we have a Mystery Lunch runs last Sunday each month....never know where you are going till you get there...average about 25-30 vettes on these runs each month....fill your tank...

Hehe...I've done Temecula runs with my Saturn club (which, I'm sorry to say, has pretty much disintegrated with one of our favorite speed shops closing and reopening under "new" management) so I'm familiar with the distance.

The COCSD meets are actually relatively close to where my aunt & cousins live, right off of La Mesa Blvd, which is about 10 min. from my house in Santee. I don't see any problems with making those club meets.

My dad just wonders, though: would they welcome him if he were to pull up in our '67 E-Type if the Vette's out of commission?
