Finally pulled the string on buying a Z06. Took 2 months to find the right one. Purchased from a fellow in NC. It's a 2003/Black/Black/7000 miles/show room condition. $34K......thought this was a real good price? Didn't think I would ever own a vette with all this computerize stuff, but I am enjoying it so far. Don't worry, I still have the 71. Until the wife wises up and make me sell it.
I have an 02 Z as well.Great cars.Who would of thought 30 years ago you could have bonestock 12 second car with a smooth idle, air conditioning and all the creature comforts.Very smooth around town but the power is always there at a twitch of the throttle.
My 80 is still my favorite Vette though. What she doesnt have in performance the 80 makes up for with stlyle and looks.
Have fun.Enjoy it.
I sold my 03 Z for about the same $ a few months ago. They are an unreal ride! I sold mine and bought a 71 LT1 and a 73 LS4 coupe. I miss it sometimes but there is just something special about these C3's. Put it in comp mode and let the shaft out once! Good luck, Brent
