600HP BLue Devil Z06 !
Apparently GM has a supercharged version of the LS7 Z06 for 2007 called the Blue Devil, over $100,000USD, I'm gonna get me two, if they will make them black too
I've heard rumors of this since last june, however a recent article (I think in Road and Track) quoted Dave Hill stating that there are no working prototypes at this time...very cool if it exisits.
Personally, I think they should bring back the F-body...something we could all possibly own.

I just saw it on TV, one of those under cover shots. THis is getting as good as the late 60's early 70's horse power wars, only difference is you could actually afford those cars back them
I was wondering TT, has the C6 changed people's opinion of the Corvette over there? I know the C5 was thought of as a plasticky piece of crap. The C6 seems much improved in that way, as well as things like diff-fluid cooler for Autobahn-ability and all that. Have you seen one yet in person?
Blue Devil is old news. The pictures that they showed on Car & Driver tv are from the Jan Magnusson ZO6 test at Nurburgring. They've been talking about it in the C6 area of the forum for more than 6 months.
You know what, they are aiming at the porsche crowd and it's awfully hard getting them out of their porsches, that and porsche gives you insane high trade in prices for your old car.
The C6 is a more refined car than the C5 (driven one) I hate the exhaust tone though, sounded like a caddy.

600 HP that is it. That is only 100 more than what they have now. I suspect when the tuners get these motors with good exhaust and intake and some computer tinkering 600 HP will be very easy. With a super charger I would imagine 700+ HP will be done. I just left a show tha thad a LS motored 427 tha t had the dyno sheet there. It was 758 rear wheel HP. A big centrifical charger was on this motor.

Well I am just day dreaming here but I would imagine they have to put in different pistons to lower the compression. Then you only have around 400HP NA and the supercharger adds 200HP
$100k seems excessive for only 100hp over the base z06; is there more to the car??? a decent nitro shot could get you 100hp for MUCH less than the $40 to $50K over the stock z06

Well, the car already pulls faster numbers then a McLaren F1 on the nurburgring track in germany
About a second or two slower then a Ferrari Enzo, soo you tell me if another hundred horse would be worth it for another 30k
Over in the C6 section they talked about the Blue Devil also shedding a few hundred pounds off the Z06's weight. Personally, I don't think GM will build it, but I am hoping I am wrong.
