Depends on style and brand. You can by fake pipes like the Patriots for $200 or all the way up to the real '69's for $3000.

depends on what you want - Patriots for $200, sweet thunder sidepipes ('factory style', stainless for $700) plus $$$ for the covers...... or Hooker headers and sipipes for $700 painted, $11 chrome, JetHot coated $1100, stainless $1400....

decisions, decisions....

I like the looks of the fake fiberglass '69 style on the 80-82 vettes when they are painted to either match or contrast the car.

Real after market side pipes look cool too, but I personally couldn't live with the hazzrd of me and my passengers burning their legs.

Don't forget that you need to take in consideration your cat converter.

From what I've seen, not too many states enforce this for our cars.
Check with your inspection station first, and ask around if they say
Further, some counties in one state will say NO and other counties say OK.

I've seen the fiberglass covers with the pipes come as a kit with stainless pipes for somewhere between $800-1000. I think rik's vette sells them.
