I plan to buy a C3 this next spring. I will have about 10K to play with. My question revolves around if I find a car that is really nice for a few G's more, how hard would it be to get a loan on a Classic Corvette? Obviously you all don't know my credit history, but I don't see my credit rating being a limiting factor, it is good. Will anyone loan money against a classic car?

I've seen numerous ads for Vettes for sale on the net where they offered financing as well. Also, there's always a home equity loan and take the interest off your taxes.
If you have a home, you could always get a home equity line of credit, which is a tax write off and keeps your rate low - you can spend the money anyway you want
