I like the Orange vettes for some reason and I think yours will look good orange. It was 84 degrees here today and beautiful weather. I don't know how much longer it will hold out but, as long as it is, I will take it out for a ride for you.

Here is my 73. I am not exactly sure on the color
but I think it is supposed to be either
1972 code 987 Ontario Orange Metallic or
1973 code 80 Orange Metallic.

R U trying to be a cop magnet?!? No, but i really do like orange on corvette's.. 'specially that ontario orange. I would really consider painting mine if it wasnt so important to my uncle(orig. owner) that i keep it as orig. as possible

I have wanted to paint my '71 Ontario orange for years. I love that color. It is uncommon, at least here in So. Fla.
It is currently white, the original color with the dark saddle interior.
After seeing the pics of 71 SoCal's beauty, I can't wait to get her painted!!

I have a 77 that is what I call "pumpkin orange", not the burnt orange of earlier years. I always wanted an orange vette & got this one in 1995. I'm starting to restore it, but not to stock. I will keep the orange color, but plan to upgrade the engine, tranny (auto) and rear end. It has the buckskin interior which really is better than the black.
Orange is the best. Even the c6 figured it out, although that is not a real orange, but close!

i would love to use the orange color off of the new honda element ( its the box with grey fenders ) what a beautiful color. and dodge has a awesome orange color on their new pickups. have only seen it on the totally useless v10 with the wing on the back. i think its called rumble bee, and has the stripes like the old daytonas on the back with the bee. a c3 would look incredible in these colors
