I need a picture of the inside of the jack compartment behind the passenger seat with the plastic tub removed facing the front of the car. In my 82 there is a printed circuit board just hanging and I am interested in knowing how it acutally is supposed to be attached.
Also, if anyone knows what this component controls, let me know.

I believe this is the circuit board that controls the pulse of the windsheild wipers.
Yes this is where it belongs.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply Steve,
My concern is that on my car, the board is just hanging there and that if it were to lay up against the jack, something might short out. Do you know if there is some protective cover missing or bracket that this board is supposed to be attached to?

There's a black pastic holder on the dividing wall and the wiper control module is held in it by a real space age technique......fiberglass reinforced tape (which dries out over time, the control module falls out, hits the jack and shorts out)
