I don't think anyone is debating performance of the C6, or the C5. What the problem is, is this so called modern styling. Where every car on the road looks like any other car on the road.
Using the pump up the dolly method you take a square plastic pillow and inflate it. POOMP theres your styling!
The lights look absolutely terrible. They at least could have put them under smoked lenses so you didn't see them and I think should have put them under LCD clear/opaque panels to hide them. Hidden lights with no moving parts. But hey that technologies only been out like 10-15 years and is too new.
I figured it out when my boss mentioned although he doesn't like the earlier vettes he does like the new one, because it looks european! Why does the C5 & 6 have center mounted exhaust pipes when it requires a 360* bend in the plumbing? Is it that it makes it look like a rear engine car? If the pipes exited the corners it would only be a 180* total plumbing route. Might as well bend them twice more for a performance look rather than a performance need .
Now for Vipers Vs Vettes.
What does each cost if you went to a dealer today?
80 grand for a viper? 40 for a vette? Something not quite equal here?
