if you shim it, does it throw off any other belts?

How is the healing process coming? It was your knee and ankle, right?

My view at moment is no...pump clearly off about 1/8" or so..alternator lines up good (perpendicular to engine)...minor deal..just got to get my fingers in it and figure out what's up with pump bracket...can't see till I remove alternator...

Knee doing great..thought I'd torn something at first..just stiff now...ankle swelling coming down..slowly...I heal slow at my age....

Edit..if you look closely at pulleys on pump, you can see slight mis-alignment of alternator belt as well...just picture pump tweaked towards you as you look at pic...

You can see the tweak in the belt, just before the pully at the top of the pic. Definately something that needs to be taken care of.

Good luck with it and I am glad your "gettin all healed up". When you use your body as a wheel chock, sometimes it is slow to heal.

i have a squeal at when i goose mine.. i think i have the P/S belt too tight. after that and reattaching a center cap on the left wheel, im driving mine down to Wichita Falls Texas and storing it until i move down there later in the month. that way i have one less thing to deal with...just hope the weather holds up!

Pulled alternator and discovered a bolt had vibrated out of the power steering pump bracket...this in turn led to failure of bracket and that explains pump mis-alignment...but it also stressed alternator bracket and cracked it..big search for brackets now...

If you look close at alternator bracket, you can see crack (in reflection above bolt hole) that runs down to radius at bottom...guess I'll have to loctite those bolts or fab a locking tab...
EDIT: Zip had both brackets...ship tomorrow...
