Default 69 BB Restoration Try Again

I'm a little new at this Pic Posting so here goes again:

After 32 years of ownership, time has come to do a mild frame on restoration. This is the 2nd car I've ever owned, sold off my 70 Chevelle SS to get. Built 09 Sept. 1969 427-390 HP, 3:55 Performance axel, M21 close ratio, fanthom green w/saddle leather, factory alarm and rear window defrost.
Shipped to Nickey Chevrolet, I'm the 3rd owner buying it with 23k on odometer now 32k. Brakes, Suspension, and Fuel system left to complete. Plan to make car drivable enough to take to Bloomington Gold for "Survivor certification". After that I'll replace the carpeting that is not the greatest shape, valve covers, and one rear bumper. 1st pic is day I brought it home and pic's of it as of today.
I appreciate any advice as I attempt to pursue the "Survivor Certification. Very impressed with the knowledge of you folks here on the Forum.

Thanks, It's been sitting on jack stands for 3 years while I recovered from a near fatal accident. Was'nt sure if I'd ever be able to drive a shift stick again let alone hold a wrench but all is well now.
Oh what memories! While reconnecting up the fibre-optics in the console I found a ticket stub to a drive in movie theatre."the one and only time I took car to drive in. We were passing the booze bottle between two cars all through the movie, when intermission came I left for the snack bar and while walking back to car saw m parents car in the row behind us who had been observing the whole booze thing. When I got home that night nothing was ever mentioned.

Great story! (regarding the drive in movie).

Sorry to hear about your accident.....glad your ok now

Wow ....so you have only done 9K miles in over 32 years of ownership? Ive done about 2K miles in the few months Ive had my 70!
Is a very nice looking vette.......shows how well you have looked after it. Great work

The other 2 Corvettes I've owned, a Copper 75 big dissapointment compared to 69 and 78 Silver Anniversary with white interior and trailer hitch towed a 3000 lb. boat. Had decent power and handling compared to 75 but nothing compared to the torque of a 427. Can't wait to get it on the road again. Very dissapointed in today's clear coat finishes compared to the old Acrylic Laquers. 69 has a few nicks, scratches, and spyder webs you'd expect with a 36 year old paint but still the best feature in my opinion. "a car is only original once."
