I'm headed back to NW Indiana to visit family, and will be about an hour away. Is there enough C3 stuff to make the trip worthwhile? Is there a particular time that's best to be there?
I guess it depends on what you are looking for. Most of the big aftermarker suppliers will be there, Mid America, Corvette Central, Al Knoch as well as Keen parts, etc. In addition there is a small swap meet area where some people have some used parts for sale. The actual show is usually pretty good for an indoor show, but it is not limited to Corvettes. It also includes chvy Camaros, Tri-fives, etc.

I did VetteFest and Bloomington this past year. Will go with Bloomington from now on. VetteFest was fun but we did the show within about 3 hours. Good show if you like a variety of cars...not just Vettes.
you are in need of some pricey parts as the big parts guys typically are offering a discount and free freight (Eckler's did this and I bought front & rear flex-fit bumpers and hardware). The show is under new management this year (check out the Great Lakes regional threads) and the new guys seem committed to making it better. Seeing the quality of some of the replacement parts (like seats, carpeting, etc.) was also beneficial as well as of course the cars on display! The fall show always has better attendance than the spring one (go figure) so if you were to check one out it would be the one coming up. As most will chime in I'm sure, its not only for 'Vettes and you'll see a lot of Camaro's, some trucks, exotics, etc. If you do go be sure to check out my '74 NBM 'Vert that my body shop will be displaying (... was completely stripped and resprayed ... he is finishing assembly and prep on it right up to when it gets trailered down on Friday).

Thanks J R C for the reply to the question. I am busy here in Chi-Town preparing for the show now. We are indeed very committed to making this show a good one!
There is a wide variety of vendors, both big and small. I am sure a lot of the "Big Guys" will continue to offer special discounts and this is a great way to save on shipping charges too.
We do offer "curbside" pickup for parts too, so you don't have to worry about dragging big or heavy parts all around.
Hope to see you there!
