It's a 750 Holley DP so I was told .... I was also told this carb is antique
It came with the Vette when I bought it, never got it to run right and the gas milage was horrible... it smelled pretty bad from the tailpipes (gas) so I assume there's something wrong with this carb... I replaced it with a 600cfm Edelbrock, now it's running fine.
The white wire (second photo) was added by the previous owner - looks nice
Is it worth rebuilding ? What should I do - put it in a box and send it to Lars ??? I'm not a carb expert (engine AND food)
Heres an exploded veiw http://www.holley.com/data/TechServi...ded%20View.pdf
I could probally rebuild it but it whouldnt have a 1-2 day turn around like a normal holley But since you have another carb on it now it whouldnt matter than much.

I'll email you once I get home, need your adress to ship it. Time doesn't matter, I'd like to have it available next year when I have my stroker built ... the 600cfm that I have on the 350 is too small for a 383 ?? I guess once I have the stroker running I'll find out which carb is better
The 4010/4011 carbs (square bore/spread bore flanges) were introduced in the late 80's. While they run pretty good out of the box, they never really caught on, because there aren't many modifications that can be done to them, hence, they weren't popular with the "speed" crowd...
But for a cruiser? Yeah, the work pretty well. I had one on a healthy 396 BBC, and it worked very nicely.
