Custom wheels for racing.
First I got the Center line convo pro's 15x10 5" offset, they look great, but the offset wasnt right they'r goin too far in.

Than I just went and got a pair of MT's
They had the right offset, but when I tried to put them on the rear wheel center is so deep that it wont clear the brakes.
Anyone make custom wheels, that could be used for drag racing?
Im lookin for
15x10" 4.5" offset rear
15x7 3 3/8 offset front
Im trying to fit 15x10 4.5" offset on the rear with MT's streets 28x13.5x15
Anyone know what wheels are these, I looked on the back and it says US Indy Mag, tried searching for them but no luck.
Wheels can be a PITA

Those look like the old E-T Mags.
Try looking at www.roadsters.com/wheels

I have "toms differentials" trailing arms with a shorter spring, which allowes an 1 1/2" more space inside on each side.

Now I have bigger studs and other things, but it got me through back then.
Good luck with your racing!
I forgot to say nice looking lady and Vette

"BTW, We had much better results with the Hoosiers over the ET Streets."
Im gonna return the ET's cause I herd this from a couple people, and the Hoosiers are 1/2" narrower in the section which is gonna help me out.
Im thikin of even goin with 15x12" rim 4 3/4 offset convo pro's, because my flares are wider and with toms offset trailing arms, I have 13 3/8 space between the frame and end of flare, and it clears all the way around. So with a 12" rim its not even gonna stick out that much mostly tire section and maybe 1/4-1/2" tread, I would just need to modify the frame by where the trailing arm co

Thanks for the compliment. We are running a 400 Turbo with an 8" converter. PM me your email address and I can send you a video.
Be careful with those big tires. The soft sidewall flexes a lot. Ask me how I know. We cut two 13" slicks on the spring bolts form a winding return road. There is over one inch clearance and that isn't enough.
And believe it or not the Hoosier QTP sixty foot almost as quick and more consistent than the fat slicks.

Was entertaining the idea of getting offset trailing arms and trying the 10 in. wheel with 5 in backspacing but you say they won't fit, do you have offset arms ?
So anyway, lets say the backspacing is 3.5 in. instead of 3 3/8 in. to make this easier. The 8.5 in. wheel wll have 3.5 in. sticking in from the hub and 5 in. sticking out from the hub. If I changed to 10 in. with 5 inch backspacing this would give me the same 5 inches sticking out but now I would have 5 inches going in. The difference is about 1.5 inches more rim into the trailing arm. Will the offset arms not clear 1.5 inches more ?
