Default Exhaust

I have a '75 corvette with the L82, i want to install some powersticks, but i was wondering if they will improve performance and possibly increase horsepower, the main reason i want the powersticks is for the sound they produce, i love that sound. I also want to mention that the catalytic converter was removed and that i will probably install some super competition headers as well as a spiraled phinolec carb spacer, so with that said, could someone tell me how much HP i could possibly gain? thanks.

Well I don't know what power sticks are... but I have my old exhaust for sale if you're interested.

Two 40 Series Aluminum Flowmaster mufflers welded to a Y-Pipe. Also 2 1/2 inch slant cut chrome tips have been welded on. This setup is only about 2 years old and all of the work was done my the Muffler Man in Placentia.

I payed to have these pipes bent correctly so that they will clear the spare tire compartment. $100 o.b.o. for the whole setup.

Or if you want only certain pieces of it, ask me. I'll cut off whatever you want. If I cut the angled pipes about 1 foot behind the mufflers you can have these welded to your Y-Pipe easily and shipping shouldn't be too bad.

thanks, but my corvette doesn't have the y pipe anymore, they're just two individual pipes running down the car. here is the site for the powersticks, i already bought them, they're 24" long i beleive.

Ooo they're chambered mufflers, why didn't you say so. They'll probably sound something like my new mufflers with a more raspy sound to them... being smaller in diameter.

Every chance I get to show this off... Haha. And post a video when you get your new exhaust all done.

this is the only video i have of it, i really like the way it sounds here, but i would prefer to have it with that chambered exhasut sound, i also got rid of that whining sound, i didn't know what it was but a local carquest suggested belt dressing and that did the trick, its not too noticable. i'll post the chambered exhaust vids as soon as i get them, oh yeah, and your car is gorgeous, you must really give the local ricers a run for their money with that thing.

Sounds loud and dirty, I like it. And I don't bother with ricers, unless were talking about a Supra or an RX7. Civics and other economy cars are an insult to hot rodders and they're not worth my expensive 91.

I love pulling up next to ricers with their fart can's when I am driving my 79, they just look straight ahead & don't even touch the gas
