Default Seat clips

Does anyone know who sells the seat clips that secure the seat bottom cover to the frame. These are the one's that attach around the edge of the frame. I've looked everywhere and can't seem to fine them.

Thanks

Ecklers sells an installation kit that includes the clips. #A1739. Problem is you're paying $33 for some stuff you probably don't need....hooks, hog rings, etc. Try checking out an upholstery shop....chances are they will have them.

I ordered a installation kit, but not enough clips came with the kit. Does anyone know what those clips are called. like s-clip j-clip etc.

I can't seem to find a source for them. Don't really want to order another kit for a few clips.

I had the same problem.....not quite enough clips and hog rings. My local upholstery shop gave me a handfull of each. I wish I'd known this before I ordered them from a catalog.....oh well. I'm not sure what the proper name is for them.....I just took one down and showed it to the guy. How many do you need?

Could use about 16-20 of them. that would give me at least 4 on each side, 5 on each side would be better. I would gladly pay you for the clips, shipping and your trouble if you have any that you would like to sale.

Ohhhh...OK....you need enough for a complete seat bottom. I only had 2 clips left over. I used 3 clips per side and 1 clip at the front rounded corners for a total of 14......that's actually how many were on it originally. Find a place down there that does auto interiors and seats and tell (or show) them what you need. The Willcox instructions I think called them "S" clips. There's only one upholstery shop here in Ennis and the guy knew exactly what they were.....in fact.....he had just done a set of seats on a 73. Finding them in Houston should be no problem....but....If by some chance you come up empty give me a shout and I'll see if I can help out.
Nice home page you have there......

Thanks Carl, I may take you up on your offer. I'm going to check with a shop I called today, said they my have them but need to see one to match it, I'm going to run over there tomorrow.

I was going to order a pack (10 to a pack) from zip, 7.50 for a pack then 6.50 to ship May have to use them as a last restort.

Thanks again Carl for you help, I'll pm you and let you know.
