1970 Corvette VIN #
This is my first Thread -- hope someone can help. I am, unfortunately, the former owner of a great C3, '70 maroon coupe, black interior, 4-speed, 350/300. Ordered it new, had to wait out the St. Louis strike to get it. Sold it in 1984 for a great price but regretted it since.
I recently found the original sales receipt with VIN number (194370S416394) and wanted to see if it's still out there somewhere. The 13 digit VIN (I'm counting the S for St. Louis in there) has been difficult to trace. Any good search sites for these old VIN numbers?

Good lead but I had been there and the Registry only has 1210 of the 1970 Corvettes listed (out of 17316). My was 16,394 and not there. All the other web sites I tried VIN searches on do not accept the old 13 digit VINs. Thanks.
