The drivers arm rest looks broken - $100 pair
I'm curious about the engine as it is listed as a L-48, yet the motor has the L-82 valve covers. However there is no smog pump, indicating a L-48.
Florida car, hope they never drove it on the beach.
If you have the money to 'ensure' this is or becomes a good car, then go for it.
Those aren't L-82 valve covers. They look like really old and ratty Edelbrock elite style covers. You can see some fake bolt heads around the rim if you look closely.
Maybe I'm being paranoid, but I worry when I don't see any pictures with the headlights up. They look like they are sitting pretty low and I wonder whether the header bar has detached. It might be an interesting car, but I would want to see it in person first.
One thing that is promising is the seller is up front about problems with the car and encouraging people to call and discuss it before putting in a bid.
Dual snorkel air cleaner.....look at the rust on carb linkage and brake MC/booster....this thing has either sat somewhere....or....is it that salt air down there ?

Good observation on the headlights. The left one looks lower than the right and there is a fair amount of paint chipping around it, indicating perhaps that it doesn't operate correctly. A detached support bar isn't a fatal flaw but it's going to cost a significant amout of $ to repair. If you do the repair yourself it won't cost too much but will involve a significant amount of time.

My 79 has a dual snorkel air cleaner so I think that's original. Given the amount of corrosion on the aluminum parts and the rust on the iron parts a thorough examination of the undercarriage is warranted. The pictures in the ebay ad are heavy on the sizzle and light on the steak. It's pretty hard for a red C3 sitting in the sun to NOT look good. I will say that I wish my interior looked as good as that one - except for the tach.
