get a respirator mask you will be amazed at the blow by on that machine.....i will only use mine outside and then with a full respirator mask on.....you don't need to be inhaling all that dust...

Good that he wants to be involved like that. You will be surprised when he gets older and remembers things like this. Plus he is learning a good hobby that is the greatest one going IMO. Teach him well and enjoy.

Grit blasters are great, but you've got to wear a some good filtration gear; blow your nose into a white kleenex after just one minute of using the grit blaster and you'll see why. That being said, having a dedicated air compressor in your garage is so useful, you have to have one to appreciate it.
He's gonna be great...Now, while he's young, he can get access to some of the small wrenching areas that are hidden behind the dash and under the car!!!
